What “Licensed Associate Professional Counselor” means
In Georgia, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor is a counselor who provides counseling services while working under the clinical supervision of an approved supervisor. Your counseling work is reviewed and supported by that supervisor. An LAPC does not practice as an independently licensed professional counselor.

Education
I earned a Master of Science in School Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Public and Community Health from Georgia Southern University.
My education, supervised clinical experience, ongoing professional development, and clinical supervision inform the counseling services I provide.
My approach to therapy
I believe therapy should feel collaborative, practical, and connected to your real life.
You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong, what you want to change, or even what you want to talk about. Part of our work together may be figuring that out.
My approach is primarily person-centered and solution-focused. This means I work to understand your experiences from your perspective while also helping you identify strengths, patterns, goals, and practical ways to move forward.
Depending on your needs, our work may include exploring thoughts and emotions, relationships, communication, coping strategies, boundaries, behavior patterns, family dynamics, life transitions, and other areas that are important to you.
Therapy is individualized. What works for one person may not work for another, so we will work together to determine what is most helpful for you.
Clinical supervision
I am licensed as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, which means I provide counseling services while practicing under clinical supervision as I complete the requirements for independent licensure.

Clinical supervision is an important part of my professional practice. I meet with my supervisor to review clinical work, receive consultation, strengthen my skills, and support the quality of care I provide.
As part of supervision, information about your counseling may be discussed with my supervisor when appropriate. My supervisor is also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of client information.
Clinical supervision may include consultation regarding assessment, treatment planning, progress, documentation, safety concerns, referrals, and other aspects of your care.
Fees & payment
The standard fee for a 50–55 minute individual therapy session is $85.
Current fees include:
- Initial Intake / Assessment | 60 minutes | $100
- Individual Therapy | 50–55 minutes | $85
- Short Session | 30 minutes | $55
- Family Therapy | 50–55 minutes | Starting at $100 (varies by family size)
Payment is due 48 hours prior to the scheduled session and must be received before the counseling session begins unless another arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
Accepted forms of payment include credit or debit card. Alternative approved electronic payments may be arranged by agreement (such as Zelle).
Feel Better Club currently operates as a private-pay practice.
Reduced-fee appointments
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments ranging from $40–$70 per session may be available for clients experiencing financial barriers to maintaining therapy.
Your agreed-upon fee will be discussed before services begin. A reduced fee does not change the quality of counseling services you receive.
Cancellations & missed appointments
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments may be charged a $50 late cancellation/no-show fee.
Exceptions may be made for emergencies or circumstances outside of your reasonable control.
Your rights as a client
You have the right to:
- Ask questions about your therapy at any time.
- Participate in decisions about your counseling and treatment goals.
- Ask questions about the approaches or techniques being used.
- Discuss concerns about your counseling experience.
- Request referrals or additional resources.
- Decline a particular counseling intervention.
- Request information about my professional credentials and supervision.
- End counseling at any time.
Counseling is voluntary, and no particular outcome can be guaranteed.

I encourage you to speak with me directly if you have questions or concerns about your counseling experience. My goal is to address concerns openly and professionally whenever possible.
You also have the right to contact the licensing board that regulates professional counselors in Georgia.
